Guided by Regina Arabia, this workshop has the intention to build Ojas, known in Ayurveda as our vital sap-restoring vitality.
We will navigate key points known as energy centers to help recognize the potential to open the channels to gentle healing.
Based on the ancient practices and teachings of yoga, that have travelled through time to our modern life, Yoga and Sound Healing combined, are a great way to reset, reboot as we enter the new season feeling refreshed.

The Mudras, or gestures are energetic seals, mostly done with our hands.
Mudras are generally used during meditation but can also be used during asana sequence, to seal our intentions.
Learn how the different mudras can create, empowerment, equilibrium, uplifting or ease during practices of yoga and meditation.
Learn how to prepare the hands for mudras with a massage therapy that helps calibrate the hand chakras, build circulations, space and mobility in the hands and wrists. This technique is also great for people that use their hands a lot , crafts, hair dressers or simply living the active modern life of texting and key boards.
We will end with a sweet 5 elements meditation to balance Vata, Kapha, Pita.

The class includes warm ups, asana movement with gentle stretches coordinated with breath.
Every month we have a themed inspired series, such as pranayama techniques, mudras, Ayurvedic Yoga, mantra, meditation.

April 6 - YOGA NIDRA

Spring is in the horizon, with our digestive systems in a different way, engage in self-care practices that promote ease and vitality, invite the abundant qualities of gratitude to all aspects of our daily routine.
For this talk, Regina will share the way Ayurveda approaches DETOX and how it helps to reset the digestive system while boosting immunity.
Explore, how these practices differ from radical juice cleansing and how gentle, nourishing and safe they are for all doshas.

Beginner Detox Program
Based on the wisdom of Ayurveda, with a modern western approach, this detox program's intention is to align with the rhythms of Spring renewal and rejuvenation to bring forth mental clarity and lightness of being.
What you need to do and know before this meeting:
Register for Namasfriday April 30, receive confirmation and meeting link.
This meeting is very important to learn the steps for the program, receive recommendations and finally determine your personal approach to stage 1.
Receive the specific details of stage 2 which is a gentle Ayurvedic inspired approach to digestive cleanse and reset.
Stage 1: Pre-Cleanse
Your pre-cleansing should be done between: May 1 and April 10 (choose minimally 3 days consecutive)
Stage 2:
As soon as you are finished with stage 1, next 4 days will be dedicated for your actual Ayurvedic cleanse and self-care practices.
The entire program will end May 10.
During this time you will receive 1:1, 30 min coaching, group meetings and tutorial.

DETOX THE BODY
We feel dis-ease because of the accumulation of toxins. As you massage your body, you’re promoting the flushing out of impurities and toxins through your skin. Proper elimination is a key part of feeling energized and ready to engage fully with life.
SELF CARE massage routine or stand alone practice, this session will teach the benefits and over a choreography applied to support your self-care during detox from home.
Ayurvedic oil treatments can be so helpful. The sheer weight of oil applied to the skin slows down vata’s hypermobile nature.
Oil lubricates the skin, tissues, and joints and puts you back feeling regulated and relaxed.
Try this nourishing method and see for yourself.
Dry- Brush exfoliates the skin to clear dead skin cells,
You will need to have available:
a large towel, a massage oil and dry - brush or natural sponge works.
Options for the oil: Cold pressed, sesame oil, almond oil, coconut oil. Any other body oil massage that you already have at home.
Options for body dry brush: natural bristles body brush or a dry wash cloth will do if you don't have a brush available.

Gentle to moderate style, our evening practice explores the teachings of classical Hatha Yoga style.
Find solace, comfort and deep relaxation while opening the channels, clearing the mind, stretching and strengthening the body.

According to yoga tradition,every one of us has five bodies. Each made of increasingly finer grades of energy. And if we intend to live a fully, balanced healthy life, all our bodies need to be kept in good condition.
In this workshop you will explore a journey through the five bodies, known as koshas or "sheaths" in Sanskrit.
Sense the koshas from a yoga perspective, and learn how to be aware of all layers with a sequence of yin yoga.
