I have loved movement, dance and the art of teaching for as long as I can remember growing up in my native country Brazil.
When yoga became available to me in the 90's, it felt like meeting a long time lost friend. I loved the practices from the very beginning and how relaxed, centered and connected it made me feel. I trusted the process completely even when challenged by life, there was a safe ground in yoga.
After just a few months, I discovered the art of self-healing from tension induced head-aches.
Impressed by how breathing and moving with consciousness affected my lifestyle, I decided to dive deeper into studies and eventually became certified to teach.
My offerings are based in ancient wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda, along with skills I acquired from respected Master Teachers, flavored with my multi cultural background, pisces intuition mostly focused in Hatha-Vinyasa style.
I invite my students to journey into the limitless potential that each one of us has to offer, a journey home to our true identity.
My inspiration to teach, comes from my own experience fueled by my passion for living a life of purpose and joy.
I am a mama of 4 and grandmother of Francesca, William and Samuel, presently living in the NY metro area with my husband Brian.
