Have you noticed some early signs of Spring this year?

Birds beginning to chirp by the window, new green sprouting from the soil?

If you are on the Northern hemisphere, It is time to gear YOGA practices to balance with what Ayurveda calls Kapha time of the year. Elements of earth and water are now dominant.

The intention for our yoga signature Spring practices is to increase feelings of lightness, warmth, and vitality while decreasing feelings of heaviness, coldness, and lethargy with moderate to energetic, detoxifying yoga.

  • Including twists to detoxify the digestive tract and stimulate agni (metabolism).
  • Practicing inversions to increase circulation and vitality.
  • Generate internal heat with kapalabhati & ujjayi pranayama.
  • Heart opening postures to open the chest and airways.
