Yoga Nidra- Diwali for Gratitude

We will begin with yoga stretches to open the meridians, self-care massage to loosen tightness. Transitioning to Yoga Nidra meditation for the last part of class.

Cultivates heart opening and a sense of limitless.

How to practice:

Find a quiet place where you can be on vacation, away from external distractions. Turn off cell phones and watches.

The practitioner lies on a comfortable surface not a bed, or on a sitting position with the spine straight.

Follow the voice that is guiding. As the practice proceeds, you may not remember the guidance in its entirety, but the unconscious mind will absorb.

Props can be used, such as rolled up blanket under the neck, bolster under the knees, eye pillows or equivalent. Massage oil or lotion for face.
